How you can help

This campaign is important to the people who live, work, study and play around the Brent River Park area. As campaign organisers, we can only do so much without YOU!

Here is how you can help us and our campaign:

DO ALL OF THE ABOVE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE - problems don't just 'go away', they get sorted by people who act, please make an effort to help, we have made it so easy for you to do so!

People you can complain to:

These people canvassed you for your support during the elections (almost to the point of harassment in some cases!), so now it is time for you to canvas them to support YOU, it is there role to represent YOU, not themselves or their political party! If you feel that they are not representing YOU, tell them in the strongest terms and remind them that they are YOUR elected representative!

Brent Councilors

Councilors are representatives of the people living in the Wards they represent. They seek to ensure that the Council is aware of, and takes into consideration the needs and views of all sections of the community within their ward. It doesn't matter whether you voted for them or not, whether you agree with their political viewpoint or not, they are there to represent YOU, that is their job.

Your Member of Parliament

Your Member for Parliament (MP) is Ms. Sarah Teather

Your MP canvassed long and hard to get your vote at the election, it was impossible to avoid being bombarded with endless propaganda and promises, well she is now in power, .......and the silence is deafening! Maybe it's time she was woken up and had a lot more to say on local issues that affect the people she represents.

Your MP is Minister of State for Children and Families, which probably couldn't be more appropriate! We are fighting to keep the park a place where children and families can go and use in safety, without the full time warden, this will not be possible!

It doesn't matter whether you voted for her or not, whether you agree with her political viewpoint or not, she is there to represent YOU, that is her job.
